About
Mojacar
Mojacar
is located in the province of Almeria, in the south east corner of Spain,
bordered by the provinces of Granada and Murcia. The Costa de Almeria
has the driest and warmest climate in Europe with an average rainfall
of 11 inches and average annual sunshine of 320 days.
Mojacar
and the surrounding area boast one of the finest coastlines in Spain.
The beaches are wonderfully clean and the water crystal clear. Mojacar
itself has wonderful beaches, which even in July & August are never
crowded.

Mojacar
has a wide range of restaurants including local Spanish, French, Italian,
Indian, Chinese, Thai, North and South American. There are also a large
selection of bars, and coffee shops.
For
self-catering there are a wide range of supermarkets, in Mojacar itself
and in the surround towns and villages, along with local shops (amazing
bakers!) as well as the opportunity to buy freshly-landed fish at nearby
ports.

Mojacar
Pueblo is about 3 km away from Mojacar Playa and the beach area. It
is a stunningly beautiful village and has to be top of most people’s
‘must see’ list.
If
you're looking for nightclubs, 24-hour pubs & bars and high-rise
buildings as far as the eye can see, Mojacar is probably not the place
for you. However, if you're looking for a peaceful, fun, relaxed holiday
in an area of outstanding nature beauty that is real Spain, you'll love
Mojacar.
